What are boomwhackers?
Boomwhackers are tuned plastic tubes that produce different musical notes when struck gently. Despite their simplicity, they have great pedagogical and artistic potential: they allow the creation of harmonies, collective rhythms, and even melodies. Moreover, they are accessible to everyone, without needing prior musical knowledge.
The activity: create a boomwhackers orchestra
- Promote musical harmony and cooperation among participants.

Orchestra direction by volunteer participants

Practical details
- 2 hours
- Between 15 and 35 people
- A large area where each participant can sit in a chair (without arms) with at least 40 cm of space on each side.
- A table at least 50×200 cm and one chair per participant.
